Today, such technologies can detect over 70 pathologies from a single chest X-ray. Tasks such as prostate imaging analysis, that once took hours, can now be completed in real time. A radiologist performing a 50-minute brain MRI can receive precise results within minutes instead of waiting weeks.

"In some countries, AI systems already flag imaging results by urgency — 'red' for critical, 'orange' for suspicious and 'green' for normal — helping medical teams prioritize cases. All this enhances the patient experience, encourages consistent health monitoring and transforms turnaround time from days to minutes, which can be life-changing."
