Cutting-Edge Technologies, High-Quality Comfortable Apparel
Delta Galil Industries is a global manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label apparel products for men, women and children. Since its founding in 1975, the company has created products that follow a “body-before-fabric” philosophy, placing equal emphasis on innovation, creativity, comfort, aesthetics and quality

This focus has made Delta Galil a global leader in the design, manufacture, distribution and sale of intimates and activewear. Through its six owned brands and partnerships with leading global fashion and activewear brands, the company now has extensive international operations and customer reach. This success is driven by its strong leadership, business agility, industry knowledge and expertise, and ability to help each customer build its own unique brand offering.
Investing in Innovation
Innovation has always been a cornerstone of Delta Galil’s success – and a distinct competitive advantage. The company leverages its best-in-class innovation platform across design, development and manufacturing to bring cutting-edge technologies to a traditionally low-tech industry, delivering unique and creative solutions to customers. Consistently challenging themselves to innovate, Delta Galil is widely recognized within the industry for its use of proprietary and sustainable fabrics, advanced designs, customized garment construction and sustainable manufacturing processes.
“Our innovation platform is a core strength and growth driver and we sustain our leadership in innovation by investing more than 2.5% of our annual revenues into R&D and design,” notes Isaac Dabah, Delta Galil Industries’ long-time CEO. I will send a photo of Isaac and designers
The company has three global R&D centers – one in Israel for Fabrics, Seamless, Performance Socks and Digital; one for Bras in Southern China; and another center for Performance Socks in the US. In addition, Delta employs approximately 350 specialists across the world who collaborate to develop the next generation of products. The company continually forges technology partnerships with renowned research universities and startups, and has an extensive intellectual property portfolio that includes eight registered patents, 16 patents pending and nine technology trademarks.
Driving Sustainability
Delta Galil Industries’ innovation team continually develops manufacturing processes and fabrics that use sustainable raw materials and that reduce water consumption, chemical and material waste, as well as the company’s carbon footprint. Its intellectual property is designed to support sustainability and includes a revolutionary solution for the textile industry that uses fabric waste to generate new fabric.
Delta Galil’s dedicated fabric R&D center in Israel consistently develops high-tech solutions that set them apart in the industry. These include technologies such as Real Cool Cotton, 720° Stretch and ReaLasting Softness. Its new Terrot 3-in-1 machine even enables the creation of 3D logos using natural or synthetic fibers.
Delta Galil is also a key sustainability hub for leading startups. For example, it collaborates with Sonovia to incorporate desired capabilities into an array of textiles. These kinds of partnerships help it advance the circular economy and reduce its environmental impact across the entire value chain.
Leading in Seam-Free Production
Delta Galil is one of the largest manufacturers of seamless garments in the world, creating seam-free products ranging from premium sports bras to shapewear, leggings, activewear tops and underwear. This seamless technology enables a single machine to directly convert yarn into a nearly completed final product, making it possible to manufacture lightweight, form-fitting and durable garments with a variety of textures, effects and patterns – all while generating minimal waste.
For example, the patent-pending Zero Stretch is a smart knitting technique that provides controlled stretch zones and support with both width and length expansion, transforming fabric from rigid to flexible and allowing both shine and matte visuals.
Fully Leveraging Digital Capabilities
Delta Galil uses Browzwear’s 3D design software to save time, money and materials in its design processes. The technology facilitates cutting development lead-time and reduces the number of physical prototype iterations and physical samples needed during the colorway development process. “We employ algorithm-based design for socks, seamless items and fabrics, and develop in-house application capabilities that work with design and knitting machines to make creating functional, visual designs easy, cost-effective and efficient,” CEO Dabah elaborates.
The original and disruptive products created at Delta Galil speak for themselves – and its customer base agrees. The company’s innovative core technologic solutions and its focus on creativity, comfort, aesthetics and quality make it the engine that advances the industry and drives the growth of iconic and digitally native brands.
