Can astronomy be embedded in ancient designs? A new book by Michael Hearns, "The mystery of the Tabernacle" claims exactly that.

The author Hearns says: "It can now be shown that the sacred dimensions of the biblical Tabernacle held a secret message. This discovery has revealed a stunning knowledge of astronomy embedded within the tabernacles ancient design: the measurements in square cubits, correspond precisely to the orbits and long-term cycles of the planets".

"For centuries, this data apparently escaped detection due to a long-held scholarly accord on a large size Tabernacle's tent", he adds. "The biblical institutions calculated a large sized tabernacle tent. However, a biblical professor had independently worked out a small size tent and his calculations are referenced in my book. Now, due to my research work, the smaller sized model has unlocked a new evidence. There were fourteen time periods with the planets when the small tent size was utilised as compared to no time periods with the large tent size", says Hearns. "This manuscript reveals the fourteen distinct planetary time periods encoded only in the Tabernacle smaller size structure".

In his book, Hearns claims the designers oriented the tabernacle entrance eastward to catch the rising sun, "setting its gold planet-engraved interior ablaze with dazzling light. Was the Tabernacle purely a place of worship, or was it an image of the cosmos?" concludes Hearns.
