Harnessing Innovation in the Service of Peace
On the Jaffa shoreline, the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation's architecturally impressive concrete and glass headquarters hosts Israel's first and largest Israeli Innovation Center – presenting the incredible story of Israel's founding, the rise of the Innovation Nation, and the diverse people and fields shaping Israel's global innovation footprint
The Israeli Innovation Center is a national and international hub for innovation, knowledge-sharing and education, exposing visitors to the range of fields in which Israeli innovation has a global impact. It became a gateway for top-tier international visitors to explore Israeli innovation, including heads of state, top global CEOs, and more. The Center welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world annually, with the aim of promoting a future of peace and prosperity in Israel and across the region. Visitors enjoy 90-minute tours which take them on a journey through the past, present and future of Israeli innovation.
Beyond its interactive visitors center, the Peres Center serves as a bridge between the international community and the Israeli ecosystem, connecting global investors and entrepreneurs with Israel's cutting-edge technology and business opportunities. The Peres Center also develops and implements both local and regional innovation education and social entrepreneurship programs aimed at enhancing diversity and representation in the sector and harnessing innovation in the service of peace, in the spirit of the values of the late President Shimon Peres.
Innovation Dream Team
Among the various initiatives the Peres Center has launched as part of its all-encompassing Innovation Center is Israel's Innovation Dream Team – an exclusive community curated by the Peres Center in collaboration with the Israel Innovation Authority, comprised of groundbreaking Israeli start-ups and companies dedicated to shaping the future of global innovation. This elite network is selected annually with 45 new start-ups joining each cohort, uniting visionary leaders across diverse sectors to drive meaningful impact.
The Dream Team plays a pivotal role in reinforcing Israel's position as a global innovation hub through collaboration, mentorship, and international engagement. The diverse array of member companies includes market leaders such as UBQ Materials, transforming waste into a bio-based thermoplastic; AI21 Labs, a pioneer in the AI industry building advanced language models; and Aidoc, with clinically proven AI solutions impacting millions of patients globally.
The current cohort of the Dream Team is presented at the Peres Center's Israeli Innovation Expo, which serves as a crucial platform to showcase this technological prowess. The Expo highlights leading research, development, and technological advancements in Israel. Since its launch, it has hosted numerous high-level international delegations seeking to engage with Israeli innovation.
Supporting young entrepreneurs
ImpACT365, launched in 2022, is another transformative initiative connecting young entrepreneurs from Israel's social-geographic periphery with leading figures in the local tech ecosystem. Through an open call for applications, approximately 100 promising participants are selected annually to engage in one-on-one virtual mentorship sessions with top VCs, founders, and experts from companies like Google, Check Point, and AWS. This initiative culminates in an in-person event at the Peres Center, offering invaluable networking and inspiration.
In response to emerging needs in the sector following the October 7 attacks, the Resilience ImpACT365 spin-off was introduced offering virtual support to start-ups negatively impacted by the war. The initiative was designed to rapidly link entrepreneurs in urgent need with viable sources of funding, client opportunities, mentorship, and more. Two virtual events – held in December 2023 and February 2024 – brought together 140 senior participants from Israel and around the world, who extended critical support to 90 Israeli start-ups whose operations were severely disrupted by the war. This effort reflects the Peres Center's commitment to resilience through innovation, creating bridges between local need and global opportunity.
The Peres Center is now gearing up for the 2025 edition of ImpACT365, which will expand its reach by introducing an extended number of international mentors who will join local experts. Through the ImpACT365 program, the Peres Center aims to empower a wide spectrum of Israel's entrepreneurial talent, equipping them with the skills and connections needed to thrive. Applications for the 2025 ImpACT365 are open until May 28th, 2025 – more details on the Peres Center website!
A hub of knowledge and learning
As part of the Peres Center's vision to serve as a hub of knowledge and learning for Israeli innovation tools and methodologies, the Center hosts senior leadership teams and leading organizations from Israel and around the world. The visitors receive tailored, professional content including workshops, lectures, immersive tours, and strategic programs that incorporate innovation, creative thinking, and business collaborations. In addition, the Center runs comprehensive courses for executives and organizations, providing advanced, practical tools to drive innovation processes and unlock creative potential.
These activities are designed to deliver actionable insights, broaden perspectives, and strengthen the connection between organizations and Israel's vibrant innovation ecosystem. Examples include "Leaders of Innovation," an executive course developed with Spyre that equips organizational leaders with practical tools and strategies to embed innovation in their organizations, and "Leading with AI," a specialized seven-week program developed with AIforAll that offers senior executives a strategic and ethical framework for implementing AI-driven transformation.
Both programs emphasize hands-on learning, real-world application, and tailored guidance to drive meaningful change. In addition, the Center offers "Innovateam" — a customizable, one-day experience designed to expose organizational teams to the mindset and methods of Israeli innovation. Together, these programs reflect the Center's commitment to empowering leaders and organizations through impactful, experience-based learning deeply connected to Israel's innovation ecosystem.
The next cohort of Leaders of Innovation begins on May 5, 2025, at the Peres Center in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Registration is now open and subject to an admissions committee.
Network of strategic partnerships
Over decades of activities, the Peres Center has cultivated a dynamic network of partners from across Israel's public and private sectors, each contributing to its mission of leveraging innovation as a force for prosperity and peace. Through these partnerships, organizations become integrated into the Center's vibrant ecosystem, which includes more than 100,000 visitors annually, consisting of international delegations, government leaders, entrepreneurs, and other guests. Partners benefit from strategic exposure through exhibitions, digital platforms, and events, while also taking part in flagship programs such as innovation summits, mentoring initiatives, and educational courses.
This collaborative model not only showcases the best of Israeli ingenuity but also fosters new opportunities for inclusive, cross-sector innovation. Partners include leading companies such as Check Point, Mobileye, Intel, KLA, Mekorot, IAI and others.
A successful example of such a meaningful relationship is the Peres Center's partnership with Salesforce Israel. For the past four years, the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation and Salesforce Israel have proudly partnered on Women Creating Innovation – an initiative that celebrates pioneering Israeli women in tech and entrepreneurship, while promoting gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. The program has taken on even deeper significance in the last 1.5 years against the backdrop of a complex and challenging reality in Israel that underscores the strength of women leaders on the frontlines and the home front.
The initiative includes unique tours of the Israeli Innovation Center which emphasize innovative women in Israeli history, inspiring workshops, and powerful sessions with remarkable Israeli women who dreamed big and delivered. Past participants have included Prof. Shulamit Levenberg, Dr. Adi Aaron Gilat, Prof. Karin Nahon and Eynat Guez. Through thought-provoking sessions, participants explore actionable pathways to workplace inclusion and gain insights from trailblazers who have reshaped the landscape of Israeli innovation.
