I was reporting then, Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated, Shimon Peres takes over and decides to call new elections, but before he does, he takes out the chief engineer from Hamas, their bomb maker. Hamas responds with a series of suicide bombs and Peres goes from 80 percent in the polls to losing to Bibi Netanyahu.
