Mathew Broderick and Nathan Lane revived iconic characters Leo Bloom and Max Bialystock to parody Donald Trump's domination of the 2016 US presidential primaries.
In the skit called "Trumped," on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, the two producers, now campaign managers, concoct a plan to run a losing candidate – someone so absurd he cannot possibly win – in order to cash in on the loss. Unfortunately for Bloom and Bialystock, their plan backfires and their loser candidate starts winning.
