In honor of the prime minister's visit to Brazil this week, the state of Amazonas has launched a new stamp celebrating 70 years of Israel's independence with a photo of Benjamin Netanyahu.
The stamp was unveiled during an event held by Brazilian Christian Friends of Israel. At the event, Benjamin Netanyahu said "We have no better friends in the world than the Evangelical community." The stamp is also printed with the Hebrew word for "savior."
During his trip, Netanyahu met with Brazilian President-elect Jair Bolsonaro. The two discussed Brazil moving its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Israel offered information and procurement opportunities to assist Bolsonaro’s flagship project, domestic security, including the sale of drones with facial recognition technology.
