The Russian defense ministry on Saturday launched a travelling exhibition to display equipment and weapons it says were captured in Syria.
The train is set to criss-cross the country in a mobile exhibition due to run until the end of April.
At Kazansky Railway Terminal in Moscow, the chief transport official of Russia's military Major-General Alexander Yaroshevich said the display aimed to offer a sense of what the army encounters in Syria.
Earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin met the leaders of Turkey and Iran in the Black Sea resort town Sochi to discuss the situation in Syria, where Russia and Turkey have been trying to create a de-escalation zone.
Moscow is keen to help Syrian President Bashar al-Assad retake territory from rebels and militants, including eventually the northwestern Idlib province.
