Asked by Galifianakis whether she would go to Canada in the event that Donald Trump was elected president and rapper Kid Rock, a Trump supporter, appointed secretary of state, Clinton replied: "I will stay in the United States and try to prevent him from destroying it."
Galifianakis remarked on her pants suits, saying he would like to meet the person who designed them because on Halloween he intended to dress up as "a librarian from outer space."
He also asked Clinton if "we'll be stuck with Tim Kaine (Clinton's running mate) for nine months" if she fell pregnant while president. Neither question received a response, other than a laugh from the candidate.
In the spirit of Halloween (on October 31,) Galifianakis entered the studio in a mask and tried to scare Clinton, but he was prevented from approaching her by her bodyguards. "That's not a good idea in front of the secret service," Clinton said.
At the end of the interview, Galifianakis said he'd like to stay in touch with Clinton. "What's the best way to do it?" he asked her. "Email?"
