Fox News host Laura Ingraham claimed on the Thursday episode of “The Laura Ingraham Show Podcast” that “minority privilege” is enabling freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to criticize her and other conservatives.

Ingraham blasted Ocasio-Cortez, who is a rising star in the Democratic Party and the youngest woman ever elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, for her “continuing effort to beat everything into the ground as a racist offense.”

Ingraham, who has been widely criticized before and lost sponsors due to a segment dubbed by critics as a "white nationalist speeech," was responding to Ocasio-Cortez tweeting: "Let's learn about this, shall we? Many have recognized that @FoxNews has crossed a line beyond conservatism and into outright bigotry with their financing of Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham. Tucker finances the @DailyCaller, which posted fake nudes of me."

Her tweet then linked to a Vox video titled, “Why white supremacists love Tucker Carlson.”

Laura Ingraham: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Has 'Minority Privilege'

“So, when you can’t debate a point, you throw back ‘white privilege, you can’t understand,’ and then there’s nowhere for that person to go. You shut down debate,” Ingraham argued, claiming, “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is trying that little trick on Tucker Carlson and me.”

Ingraham then claimed Ocasio-Cortez enjoys “the privilege of being a protected member of a class that you can never criticize, lest you be called racist?”

“That’s privilege,” Ingraham continued, “I think Victor Davis Hanson called it ‘minority privilege’ in his piece that he just wrote, that the people who are the most protected are the people who are the first to say ‘white privilege’ because then, you can’t ever criticize them again.”
