Ann Coulter Tweets About Bernie Supporters: 'Did Hillary Have Them Gassed?'

Conservative pundit is no stranger to allegations of anti-Semitism, tweeting 'how many f---ing Jews do these people think there are in the United States?' after several candidates in Republican debate stressed improved U.S. ties with Israel.

Controversial conservative pundit Ann Coulter caused an uproar Tuesday night after posting a tweet asking if Hillary Clinton had Bernie Sanders' supporters "gassed."

Sanders' supporters were much more vocal from the convention floor on night one amid the fallout from the Democratic National Committee email scandal. However, the party presented a more unified front on the convention's second night, officially nominating Hillary Clinton as the Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential election.

Coulter has frequently been in the spotlight for her alleged anti-Semitic comments, and many have pointed to her extreme stances - once of the fringe of the Republican Party - as having become mainstreamed since the beginning of Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

During a September 2015 Republican debate, Coulter tweeted "how many f---ing Jews do these people think there are in the United States?"

In a 2007 interview on CNBC's "The Big Idea," Coulter told Jewish host Donny Deutsch that she wants her dream America to be completely Christian, and that she wanted "Jews to be perfected, as they say," referring to Jews being converted to Christianity.
