Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am is in Israel for meetings related to a new smartwatch project the award-winning musician is launching, Israel National News reported, citing Walla!

Will.i.am, born William Adams, arrived in Israel on Sunday according to the report. The high-tech "smart cuff" he is launching, called the Puls, is part of what he has called a line of "fashionology" devices and apparel that merge technology and fashion.

He also recently announced that futuristic architect Zaha Hadid would be collaborating with him on the project.

Since landing on Sunday, the entrepreneur reportedly had dinner with local friends and then went clubbing in Tel Aviv.

He is said to be discussing the Puls project with Israeli businessman Ron Zuckerman, according to reports.
