Woody Allen's upcoming film reportedly features an adult male character, played by Jude Law, being accused by his wife of sleeping with a 15-year-old, played by Elle Fanning, who is 19 years old. The movie eventually reveals that Fanning's character is in fact 21.

According to Page Six, 44-year-old actor Jude Law’s character is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old “concubine." The film, written and directed by Allen, also stars Selena Gomez, Liev Schreiber, Suki Waterhouse and Kelly Rohrbach.

Reports of the content of Allen's film made headlines amid the controversy surrounding dozens of sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein. Allen himself drew criticism for his response to the allegations against Weinstein when he warned in a BBC interview against starting a “witch-hunt atmosphere” in Hollywood, where “every guy in an office who winks at a woman is suddenly having to call a lawyer to defend himself.”

Allen, who has been accused of sexual abuse, later released a statement clarifying that comment insisting, “When I said I felt sad for Harvey Weinstein, I thought it was clear the meaning was because he is a sad, sick man.”
