The White House Correspondents' Dinner, an annual event where journalists and celebrities poke fun at the president, was briefly upstaged Saturday afternoon by late-night TV star Samantha Bee’s "Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner" event.

Bee performed her tongue-in-cheek tribute to American news organizations with other celebrity guests in front of a packed auditorium on April 29. The event, hosted in the style of the real White House Correspondent’s Dinner, included short parodies, roasts, monologues and a staged interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper.

In a hit segment, Will Ferrell reprised his SNL impression of former President George W. Bush, asking viewers “How do you like me now?” in a thick Texan accent. He continued on to roast President Trump and his administration, the scandals at Fox News and Bush himself.
