Trevor Noah Explains Why 'Jared Kushner Is the Real President' of the United States
'Daily Show' host names Donald Trump’s son-in-law the true commander-in-chief, surpassing former title-holders Steven Bannon, Vice President Mike Pence and Pence’s wife.

On Tuesday's episode of the "Daily Show," host Trevor Noah, named Donald Trump’s son-in-law the true commander-in-chief, surpassing former title-holders Steven Bannon, Vice President Mike Pence and Pence’s wife.
“But Kushner, he wouldn’t reach the number one spot in our real president standings if son-in-law were his only responsibility,” Noah said during the recent installment of his running sketch, "Who is the real president?"
Noah joked about Kushner's many tasks in the White House. Kushner has been tasked with making government more efficient, making peace in the Middle East and more recently with planning Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Mar-a-Lago later this week.

“Like Trump said, ‘Plan me a party for me and the Chinese president and also create peace in the Middle East,’” Noah joked, imitating Kushner’s response: “What? That’s insane! I don’t even know what your favorite color balloons are, man!”
“So, defeating ISIS, bringing peace to the Middle East, that’s a lot of responsibility,” Noah continued. “But maybe, just maybe, Jared Kushner has a shot. If he focuses on nothing else.”
“That’s all! Wow, Trump is giving Jared Kushner so much to do. And here you were bitching about your father-in-law asking you to set up the wifi,” joke Noah.
