Stephen Colbert just couldn't hide his holiday glee after special counsel Robert Mueller's indictments against U.S. President Donald Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates were revealed on Monday.
"This year is going to be super spooky for Donald Trump,” The Late Show With Stephen Colbert host said. “I know it’s almost Halloween, but it really feels more like Christmas."
“Manafort’s been charged with 12 counts, including conspiracy to launder money, tax fraud and conspiracy against the United States. What’s that crime usually called again? I can’t remember, for some treason.”

Bernie Sanders happened to be on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" immediately after the news of Manafort's indictment broke and Sanders commented saying this is a very big deal.
Sanders went on to say, “Number one, we have got to take on Trump’s attacks against the environment, against women, against latinos and blacks and people in the gay community. We’ve gotta fight back every day on those issues."
