'Saturday Night Live' kicked off 2017 with a bang, diving straight into the biggest story of the week: the allegations that President-elect Trump and President Obama were briefed on incriminating information Russia has on Trump.
Mocking the first press conference Trump has held as president-elect last week, the late night comedy show had Alec Baldwin playing Trump trying to stay on message and discuss jobs.
“I am going to bring back a thick stream of jobs back to this country,” Baldwin quipped. “The biggest, strongest, steadiest stream you’ve ever seen. This country will be literally showered with jobs. Because I am a major wiz at jobs. It will be a golden opportunity for me as president to make a big splash. I know you’re in. How about you? You’re in? You’re in? You’re in?”

Jabbing at Trump's ongoing feud with CNN, the news network that broke the story, Baldwin mocked the moment in the press conference in which he refused to take a question from CNN, saying, "“You’re overrated, fake news! I tried watching your network last night and there was just some crazy blonde woman spouting lies.” Quickly informed that that was Kellyanne Conway, Baldwin changed tune, “God, I love Kellyanne, everyday it looks like she does the ice bucket challenge with her makeup.”
The press conference ended abruptly when a shirtless Vladimir Putin showed up with what he called the “Pee Pee Tape.” Which prompted Trump to insist again Russia was not the hacking culprit, “It was China, I mean, Canada. It was Meryl Streep. OK, this press conference is over. Thank you all for peeing here, I mean for pissing here, I mean for being here.”
