Candace Owens, the Director of Urban Engagement at the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, received an apology from an MSNBC political analyst after he called her "little girl" live on-air Tuesday.

Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson apologized after a segment hosted by Ari Melber on U.S. President Donald Trump's racially divisive rhetoric got out of control with the two guests shouting over each other.

Owens is a rising star among conservative defenders of Trump and has become a target of anti-Trump protesters. Owens, along with the founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk, were chased out of a Philadelphia restaurant earlier in the week by protesters. Kirk took to Twitter after the event, writing, “Why won’t Democrat leaders denounce these ANTIFA thugs?”
