Former Republican Leader: Trump’s Evangelical Supporters Should 'Shut the Hell Up'

Michael Steele was discussing Christian support for Trump after allegations he had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels

Former chairman of the Republican National Committee Michael Steele ripped into Evangelical Christians who still support Donald Trump after the Wall Street Journal uncoverd Trump had paid off a porn star to stay quiet about an affair they had during Melania Trump's pregnancy with their son.

Steele was reacting to be questioned on MSNBC about Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, who said Monday that Trump gets “a mulligan” or “do-over” over allegation he had the affair with porn star Stormy Daniels.

“I have a very simple admonition at this point,” Steele said on MSNBC's “Hardball.” “Just shut the hell up and don’t ever preach to me about anything ever again. I don’t want to hear it.”
