A segment on Fox News went off the rails Tuesday when a left-leaning commentator called Tucker Carlson and the other guest in the segment, former Trump administration communications director Mercedes Schlapp, conspiracy theorists during a conversation about COVID-19.

"People need to get vaccinated and it is the private sector who wants to make sure that people coming into their venues are vaccinated so that their patrons can be safe from COVID-19," argued Chris Hahn, as the conversation on the American right about so-called vaccination passports heats up.

Hahn continued by saying prominent voices on the right need to "stop spreading lies about what's going on in this country," to which Schlapp replied: "You are not going to call me a liar. You are not going to call me a conspiracy theorist. You are not going to call Tucker Carlson a conspiracy theorist."

"He is. He is and you are," Hahn hit back.

"I stand for freedom. I stand for the freedom of the American people," Schlapp replied. Hahn cut her off saying, "No, you don't. You're a grifter."
