Veteran Fox News journalist Chris Wallace said Thursday after the beginning parts of the testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who is accusing Trump Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of a 1982 sexual assault that she is “credible” and her words are a “disaster for the Republicans.”
"This was extremely emotional, extremely raw, and extremely credible,” Wallace said during a fifteen minute recess.
“Nobody could listen to her deliver those words and talk about the assault and the impact it had had on her life and not have your heart go out to her,” the "Fox News Sunday" host continued. “She obviously was traumatized by an event.”
“This is a disaster for the Republicans,” Wallace added.
Wallace went on to say his daughters brought up their own experiences with sexual while the family was discussing the allegations against Kavanaugh over email.
"[They] hadn’t told their parents, I don’t know if they told their friends. Certainly had never reported it to police," Wallace said.
