Conservative pundit S.E. Cupp urged first lady Melania Trump to leave Donald Trump on Tuesday. Speaking on CNN, Cupp argued, in the wake of porn star Stormy Daniels's "60 Minutes" interview, that Melania Trump is a role model for millions of young women and that she should set a different example than the one Hillary Clinton set decades ago by standing by her adulterer husband.
“While feminists trotted [Hillary Clinton] out as a role model for strong women, all I saw was a woman who was humiliated time and again,” Cupp said.
Cupp’s segment was a rare departure for political commentators in the U.S., who rarely wade into the personal dynamics of politicians and their families.

“Melania may not have a political career to consider, but as first lady, she is an inherently important figure in American politics, and women are watching ― particularly young women,” Cupp continued. “Melania should do for this generation of girls what Hillary Clinton did not do for mine and leave her jerk of a husband.”
