The incident followed three waves of bomb threats in which 48 U.S. Jewish centers were targeted. The coordinated threats, often targeting multiple organizations in the same hour, started on the East Coast and spread westward, culminating in the evacuation of 14 Jewish community centers on a single day.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed that a bomb threat was received, but added that it was a hoax and no bomb was found.
This is a developing story.
