For the one-year anniversary of Donald Trump's election as president of the United States HBO political satirist Bill Maher decide to take a look at Trump's campaign promise to hire "the best people." Maher decided to start by breaking down the accomplishments of Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner - for which he found none.
"Let’s check in and see how Jared has done," Maher joked. "Trade deals? Well, he’s most of the way through NAFTA’s Wikipedia page. Reinventing government? Yeah, that's one way to put it. Roads and bridges? Well, we do look better than we did a year ago, but that’s just compared to Puerto Rico."

“They call Jared Kushner ‘Trump’s boy wonder’ because what anyone sees in him, boy, really makes you wonder,” continued Maher. "Who better to earn the trust of the Palestinians than an Orthodox Jew who specializes in aggressively acquiring real estate?"
“He’s done nothing,” Maher concluded.
