"Saturday Night Live" kicked off the holiday season with Vladimir Putin giving a little gift to Donald Trump. The latest cold opening of the long-running comedy sketch series skewered the president-elect over the alleged Russian hacking of the U.S. presidential election on behalf of Trump's candidacy. The show wasted no time getting into the controversy, as Putin came down the chimney and surprised Donald and Melania Trump.
"Mr. Trump, we are here because your CIA is saying that we Russians tried to make you win election," says Putin, played by Beck Bennett.
"I know, all lies, made up by some very bitter people who need to move on!" replied Alec Baldwin playing Donald Trump.
"So you trust me more than American CIA?" Bennett's Putin asks.

"All I know is I won!" Baldwin's Trump replies.
“We in Russia, we are so happy that you’re U.S. president. We think you are the best candidate, the smartest candidate — the Manchurian candidate," joked Bennett.
For her part, Kate McKinnon returned as Hillary Clinton attempting to sway a Trump elector to switch her vote. McKinnon reenacted a famous scene from the Christmas movie "Love Actually," standing in front of the elector's door as though she were a Christmas caroller, delivering an intimate message.
