Jewish comedian and prominent critic of U.S. President Donald Trump, Chelsea Handler, slammed Republicans after the deadly school shooting in Florida on Wednesday, tweeting that, "You all have blood on your hands."
Handler's full tweet read: "We have to elect candidates that are not funded by the NRA in November. We have an opportunity to elect candidates who won’t allow kids to go to school and get shot. It is disgusting how many times this has happened and Republicans do nothing. You all have blood on your hands."

A 19-year-old gunman returned to a Florida high school where he had once been expelled for disciplinary reasons and opened fire with an assault-style rifle on Wednesday, killing 17 people and injuring more than a dozen others before he was later arrested that evening.
The shooting evoked emotional responses across the political spectrum with both Donald and Melania Trump offering their condolences and prayers on Twitter.
CNN counterterrorism analyst Philip Mudd broke down in tears live on air while discussing the horrific school shooting.
"I have 10 nieces and nephews,” Mudd said, his voice breaking. “We’re talking about bump stocks, we’re talking about legislation. A child of God is dead. Can not we acknowledge in this country that we cannot accept this?”
“I can’t do it, Wolf,” he said to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “I’m sorry, we can’t do it."
