BOSTON – It’s hard to think of a thoroughfare more authentically Boston than Beacon Street. The street cuts across the entire city: from Fenway Park to the famous Boston Common with its expansive lawns and famous lake. The wide tree-lined street is both the fictional location of the bar in the classic sitcom “Cheers,” and a key pit stop in the epic journey of a family of mallards in the children’s picture book “Make Way for Ducklings.”
