John Oliver returned to his HBO show "Last Week Tonight" on Sunday after several weeks off the air with lots of material to work with. Oliver ripped into President Donald Trump over rescinding DACA, pardoning Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio and Ivanka Trump's awkward Oval Office run-in with Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.
Oliver revealed what he sees as Trump's "tell" for when the president has no idea what he is going to do. Oliver played a clip from 2015 of then-candidate Trump saying, “They [Dreamers] have to go. We will work with them, they have to go. We will do it, and we will expedite it so people can come back in. It will work out so well, you’ll be so happy," he told NBC's Chuck Todd. In four years you’re going to interview me and you’re going to say, ‘What a great job you’ve done, President Trump.’”
Oliver then joked, “But that is not a plan! Saying they have to go, but then they can maybe come back in, and ending sounding like he’s trying to hypnotize Chuck Todd: ‘It will work out so well, you’ll be so happy, in four years you’re going to say ‘What a great job you’ve done, President Trump,’ now when I snap my fingers you’re going to wake up and wet your pants.’”

Later, Oliver skewered Ivanka Trump over reports earier in the week that she visibly annoyed McConnell and Ryan by walking into the Oval Office during a meeting with her father.
But in the end, Oliver lamented, Ivanka annoying Republican leaders was "far from the most uncomfortable moment involving Ivanka this week," showing, then grimacing over the president's "daddy" introduction at a North Dakota event.
