When Roe v. Wade Dies, Israel Will Be More Liberal Than U.S. on Abortion

For liberal American Jews, the Supreme Court draft decision leaked on Monday night – which would reverse Roe v. Wade and open the door to severe restrictions on abortion across the United States – is a nightmare come true. If it becomes the law of the land, a new reality will emerge: one in which it will be far easier to obtain a legal abortion in Israel than in much of the United States.
