Trump Can Still Raise Hell in the Day After Biden's Victory

With 74 remaining days before Biden’s inauguration, Trump could stir up a lot of trouble, but despite heated remarks of a few followers in Israel, little is likely to come from the president’s legal challenges to election results

It took three and a half long days, but at about 6:30 P.M. Israel time Saturday, the American television networks called the presidential election for Joe Biden.

CNN, which waged a bloody battle against Donald Trump throughout his presidency, supplied the most melodramatic summation. The network’s chief Washington correspondent, Jake Tapper, ended his remarks projecting Biden’s win with a nod to President Gerald Ford’s inaugural speech in 1974, after Richard Nixon resigned in disgrace in the wake of Watergate: “It must be said, to paraphrase President Ford, for tens of millions of our fellow Americans, their long national nightmare is over.”
