WASHINGTON – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has appointed Stuart Eizenstat as his special adviser on Holocaust issues, where he will be tasked with offering policy advice on Shoah-related matters.

Eizenstat will work to elevate the policy and agenda dictated by Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues Ellen Germain – an office he helped create in 1990.
