WASHINGTON – Second gentleman Doug Emhoff, the first Jewish spouse of a president or vice president, has never shied away from his religious identity. Several events over the autumn have further illustrated how core his Judaism is to his worldview – as well as for his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris.
