A website that helps people find partners to have affairs with is launching a Hebrew site in Israel and reports that 35,000 Israelis have already registered.

The Ashley Madison adultery website owned by Noel Biderman touts the slogan "Life is short, have an affair" and boasts over 25 million members worldwide. It operates in 17 languages across 37 countries.

Biderman, a Jewish man married with two children, told Haaretz blogger Haim Handwerker that of all "dating" websites, his has the highest growth rate. There are 12 million registered males and 7 million registered females.

He reports a 33-percent jump in membership since 2012 and his company reportedly makes between 120-140 million dollars annually.

According to a report in Globes, Biderman says he doesn't think the site will increase adultery in Israel, but merely help people who have already chosen to do it. "Before the launch of Ashley Madison in Israel, people had affairs, and when I leave, they'll have affairs. So why not give them a social network where they can be together," he was quoted as saying.
