Labor Court to Hold Hearing on Postal Strike Today

Postal workers will continue their sanctions today, though without a full strike.

After two weeks of disruptions, the Israel Post petitioned the Tel Aviv Labor Court yesterday to order the Histadrut Labor Federation to act to end the strike.

The court will hear the case today.

Under the ongoing sanctions, mail will not be delivered to the periphery, including many IDF bases; diplomatic mail will not be delivered; the Postal Bank will not be fully operating; and payments to state bodies will not be accepted.
