The Ravivi committee has rejected Housing Minister Natan Sharansky's candidate for CEO of the state Amidar housing company. Sharansky had nominated a member of Amidar's board, Ariela Ravdal-Nadkov, but the committee that oversees all senior appointments in the public sector found that her academic degrees and managerial experience "do not meet the specific requirements as prescribed by law." Amidar's board criticized the decision and announced it was considering a legal appeal.
