The Ebola epidemic is part of God's punishment against U.S. President Barack Obama for failing to adequately support Israel, American pastor and televangelist John Hagee said in a recent televised broadcast.

During a broadcast of his "Hagee Hotline" show last week, the founder of Christians United for Israel accused Obama of trying to divide Jerusalem.
"Our president is dead set on dividing Jerusalem," the pastor said according to left-wing website Right Wing Watch. "God is watching and he will bring America into judgment."
In a YouTube video posted by the group, Hagee said, "There are grounds to say that judgment has already begun, because he, the president, has been fighting to divide Jerusalem for years now."
The Ebola crisis and other turmoil – including Islamic extremism and unrest in Ferguson, Missouri – are all part of God's judgment in response to Obama's policies, he said.
