Israelis Pay Dearly as the Government Uses War for Unjustified Price Hikes

For weeks now, price hikes have become a daily occurrence. The wave of price increases announced last week, immediately after Passover, will not be ending with food companies' latest announcements. Over the coming month, pasta, coffee, price-controlled dairy products, Unilever ice cream brands, beverages marketed by the Central Bottling Company and a variety of toiletries and hygiene products will become more expensive. In most cases, prices will rise by more than 10 percent.
