Why Do Far-left, Anti-occupation Israeli Lawmakers Side With Putin?
The Joint List of Arab parties agonized – and the agonizing was particularly anguished this time around – over Sunday night’s speech to the Knesset by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. One of the joint faction’s three component parties, Hadash, opposed attending the speech, which was on Zoom. The other two were still undecided as of Sunday morning but ultimately skipped it as well.
