Antisemitism Is Good for Both Palestinians and Israelis. It’s Still Wrong

For the progressive left, antisemitism is bad because it harms not the Jews but rather the Palestinians; they are the real victims and the real reason that we should be concerned

I’ve been accused in the past of being an antisemitism-denier because in this column I wrote a number of times that the ancient hatred of Jews is no longer an existential threat to our people and today most antisemites are cranks and crusties that no one takes seriously. But it seems that the real reason that I haven’t been taking antisemitism seriously is because it poses a threat to a whole other group – one that I didn’t take into account – and that it should not be measured merely by the danger that it poses to its intended targets.
