Israel and Turkey: Deep State of Distrust Needs to End

The Turkish government felt so sure that there was a water-tight deal with Israel over peacefully handling the Gaza flotilla that its most senior figures stayed abroad during the lead-up to the fateful period of violent confrontation on the Mavi Marmara. Did Israel's most senior figures break a Turkish deal as well as subvert its own checks and balances?
