CJ Chanco

CJ Chanco is a PhD student in History at McGill University. He has written about the labour movement and the Jewish Canadian community in the context of their efforts on behalf of post-WWII displaced persons resettled in North America. Born and raised in the Philippines, he worked for several years in the non-profit sector, before moving to Canada. He has also published on issues concerning Filipino politics, the left, and the history of internal displacement in Mindanao.
