The chief of Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guard says his forces are ready for combat and "any scenario" as the country's nuclear deal with world powers collapses and tensions with the U.S. soar.
Gen. Hossein Salami said Saturday that his forces have carried out "war exercise and are ready for any scenario."
Salami was speaking during a ceremony showing pieces of the American drone shot down by the Guard in June.
"Be careful, a limited aggression will not remain limited. We are after punishment and we will continue until the full destruction of any aggressor," Salami said.
He added: "If anyone crosses our borders, we will hit them."
