Iran’s semi-official news agency Tasnim launched a Hebrew-language site on Tuesday to combat what it described as “the massive and systematic censorship” of news about the “Zionist regime” in world media.

The launch was timed to coincide with the second anniversary of the death of Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani. Tasnim CEO Majid Qolizadeh said the site aims to “follow the holy path of Haj Qassem in the region, which is seeking freedom and advocating justice for all people with various ethnicities, religions, interests, and nationalities."
