Iran has recalled its envoy to Yemen's Houthis, and while officially, Hassan Irloo left for medical treatment after he contracted COVID-19, his departure may be a sign of growing friction between the rebel movement and Tehran.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday that Irloo, a senior member of the Revolutionary Guards, was in need of medical care after being infected for several days, and therefore had to be flown out of Yemen.
