REUTERS - Two Turkish soldiers were killed in clashes in the largely Kurdish southeastern Hakkari province near the border with Iraq on Monday, Dogan news agency said.

On Saturday, suspected Kurdish militants fired rockets at the airport in Turkey's main southeastern city of Diyarbakir, sending passengers and staff scrambling for shelter, Dogan news agency said.
The attack came days after Turkey launched a military incursion into Syria aimed at driving back ISIS and preventing territorial gains by Kurdish fighters.
Violence in Turkey's largely Kurdish southeast has flared since a 2-1/2-year-old ceasefire between the state and the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party fell apart in July 2015.
