Gal Gadot, the Israeli actress who has become a household name after playing the lead role in "Wonder Woman," has reached the No. 1 spot on The Hollywood Reporter's Top Actors chart.

Gadot hit the top of the chart after being ranked No. 4 for the last two weeks. In the process, she unseated Priyanka Chopra, the Indian actress who fell to No. 4 this week.
Other actors on the list, which was released on Saturday and tracks data through June 20, include Jennifer Lopez, Mark Wahlberg, Lucy Hale and Kevin Hart.
The chart is The Hollywood Reporter's ranking of the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as YouTube and Google Plus, and incorporates global data provided by the social media analytics company MVPindex.
The "Wonder Woman" movie, which is based on the DC Comics superhero and directed by Patty Jenkins, is currently the sixth-highest grossing film of the year. It was released on June 1 in Israel and the next day in the U.S.
Gadot's rise to No. 1 on the Top Actors chart coincides with the movie surpassing $600 million at the box office worldwide, Forbes reported.
The Hollywood Reporter said that Gadot gained 220 percent in all the metrics used for its ranking, including a 224 percent rise in Instagram likes.
Gadot's Instagram account features behind-the-scenes clips from the movie as well as personal photos.
