Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are learning an Israeli form of self-defense in preparation for their upcoming movie, the Daily Mail reported Monday.

Krav Maga, a self-defense system developed for the Israeli military, combines a wide range of techniques, from boxing and wrestling to Judo and Jujutsu.

Not only has the recently married couple been practicing Krav Maga ahead of their next film, "By the Sea," but their six children are also getting into the act, according to the Mirror.

"The whole family are learning the moves, even the little ones are doing modified kids' moves but Brad has been doing it for 45 minutes a day and has dramatically lost weight and beefed up his muscles for the film," a source told the Mirror.

Pitt is believed to have taken off more than 10 pounds after three weeks of the "intense military-style exercise classes," according to the Mirror.
While Pitt had not taken Krav Maga classes before, Jolie is very familiar with the form. She learned Krav Maga for her role in 2001's "Tomb Raider" and 2010's "Salt."

The source said: "Angelina previously learnt Krav Maga when she was doing Tomb Raider and loved it."
