the enemy of life.

Healthy Eating for Protection from OXIDATION

What is healthy nutrition?

Healthy nutrition is one that includes Anti-oxidants: fresh vegetables and fresh fruits.

Should we be eating only vegetables and fruits?

No.

Our bodies also need

Protein:
Eggs/fish/meat/milk and dairy products for building up of bone and muscle tissue

and include fats

Carbohydrates:

Bread/rice/potatoes and baked goods for energy for activating muscles.

No need for supplements!

MyPlate

Our daily food intake – should look like this:

1/4 Fruits - 1/4 Proteins - 1/4 Vegetables - 1/4 Carbohydrates

Remember!

By making one-half of your daily food intake comprised of

fresh vegetables and fruits,

you can provide your body with a sufficient amount of

anti-oxidants to (almost) prevent oxidation, fight off diseases and keep you in a generally healthy state.
