Israeli actress Gal Gadot will star opposite Dwayne Johnson in a new Universal Studios action-comedy heist thriller called “Red Notice,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Gadot, who became world famous after starring in the 2017 hit “Wonder Woman,” has already worked with Johnson in the past, when she appeared in a supporting role in three films in the blockbuster series “Fast and Furious,” in which he starred.
Johnson, a former professional boxer known by his nickname “The Rock,” will also play the main character in "Red Notice," which will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. This marks the third collaboration between Thurber and Johnson, following “Skyscraper,” due out next month, and “Central Intelligence” (2016).
The plot of the new film, which is expected to hit theaters in the summer of 2020, follows an Interpol agent who sets out to find the most wanted art thief in the world.
