It’s cigarettes. Of the 52 million people who die on average each year, 8 million die from smoking-related illnesses such as heart disease, lung disease and cancer – a “Holocaust and a quarter per annum,” Jewish-Australian comedian/storyteller John Safran writes in his new book, “Puff Piece: How Philip Morris set Vaping Alight (and Burned Down the English Language).”
